Usually its kids, I know. But I did something today that made me laugh so hard I almost peed my pants. But in order for it to be funny I must first tell the back story, which is pretty short.
Back story – We were playing a table top role playing game that is based in a fantasy world. We found horses and my character who is a farmer walked up to hers and tried to make friends with it. It didn’t seem to like her, so she punched it in the face (because once upon a time that was thought to be a way to discipline an animal). It got angry at her, so she gave it to another party member, my friend Mandy’s character.
Back-story complete.
I bought myself a chocolate meringue pie as a mother’s day present to myself. Well, I gave up sugared soda’s quite a while go but was still very surprised when this cake tasted so sugary that I couldn’t eat it. So sad L So, I offered it to Tom. It was too chocolaty (this is turning into a goldilocks story). So, when Mandy came over I offered it to her, because I hate to throw food away and it was good, but Tom and I both are on diets that have changed the way sweet stuff tastes to us.
She tried it and loved it. Success! So she was going to take it home after our board game night. Well, we were cleaning up and she was getting her stuff together. I went to grab the pie, picked it up and it just flipped over, meringue side down on the counter.
Tom walked by and said, “Well, that’s a lot like when you punched a horse in the face and then gave it to her, only worse”.
It might only be hilarious to me, but it was really darn funny.
