The Weigh In - Week 8

I'm very sad to say another pound gained.  So, now I'm at 204.4.  I'm feeling a little depressed about this and just in general.  Of course my period is due tomorrow, I've had the same headache for 2 days (no meds help it) and I'm so exhausted I literally can't see straight at times and am nodding off constantly.

So, I have not worked out at all this week.  That is mostly because I haven't slept more than 1 and 1/2 hours in a row for almost 6 days in a row.  I have been eating pretty well, but that doesn't much good when you're not sleeping or exercising, lol.

Well, hopefully next week will be better and I can get back to exercising again.

So, I chose this song for a very important reason.  I find myself tested as I get older to hold onto the value's my mother taught me.  What has happened to the Golden Rule?  "Do Unto Others As You Would Have Them Do Unto You."  I strongly believe in this and I try to live my life by it.  I admit I fail occasionally and I know when I was younger I probably threw it out the window completely.

But that's what this song is dedicated to this week.  As I did dishes tonight I thought to myself about my life and my recent decisions.

I've chosen to continue to live my life in the fashion I choose.  I know I almost definitely will not change this world, but I will not let this world change me.

The Weigh In - Week 7

First let me start by saying I was sick again this week.  Again!  Apparently this is common when you become a mom :-(

Well, I weighed in this morning at 203.2.  So I'm basically back to what I was at 2 weeks ago.  I was so happy to step on the scale and see I was still under 205!  I had one of those colds where you're starving and eat everything in sight.  I was so scared I gained a lot of weight!  Also, I barely left the couch for 3 days, lol.

So, all in all I think it's safe to say this was a good week.  I'm back on the horse again and hopefully next week I'll be at 202!  So, this week I'll be exercising and eating my diet food.

The Weigh In - Week 6

It may not be awesome, but I gained a pound this week.  I'm not really that upset because I lost a lot last week.

So, my weigh in was 204.

I did pretty good this week and ate right.  I certainly didn't get as much exercise as I should have, and that might be why I gained a pound.

But here's the awesome news :-)

So, looks like I'm losing a lot in my hips!  I actually could totally tell, which makes me feel even better :-)
