Baby Things I Wish I Had

There are always things that you’ll want when you’re raising a child.  Sometimes you can’t afford them.  Sometimes you never hear of them until you’re not in the market anymore.  Either way there are some things that if I have another kid I plan on trying to get these.

Video Monitor – Yeah, I thought this sounded so stupid until realized why it would be awesome.  After Kaylee moved to her own room she started talking in her sleep occasionally.  Also, sometimes she would cry but then put herself back to sleep.  But I wasn’t sure if she was up or not so I would check on her (not all the time, I’m not a helicopter mom).  And of course the checking on her would wake her up all the way.  Although sometimes she was actually in distress and did need me.  With a video monitor there would be no doubt.  I could go to her only when she needed me.  I want one of these so bad with kiddo number 2.

Wipe Warmer – There were so many times that my little girl’s butt got frozen from the wipes.  Try putting them on your butt in the winter and you will owe your kid a huge apology.  I want a wipe warmer big time.

Parent Back Pack – These replace diaper bags.  They’re like $80 but are totally worth it.  You can hang them on your stroller and they’re a lot like a normal back pack.  They just have pockets that resemble a diaper bag.

LATCH – omg!  My next car must have LATCH system in it.  It drives me insane that my SUV, which I love other than this, doesn’t have it.

All these little gadgets exist to make our lives and parenting a little bit easier.  Not just for us but also our kids.  I know that the next time around I plan on adding a few parenting items to make my job easier.
